With the release of the new Lexmark XM5365/M5255/B2865dw/XM5370 series, your customers are probably hounding you for inexpensive cabinet/caster options. While you think you may not be able to save money when a customer requests a High Capacity Feeder (HCF 2,100 sheets 50G0804) . You actually can! Lexmark sells their HCF with two “Locator Nobs” at the bottom which make it seem like you can only use a Lexmark Caster Base (Upwards of $300) as seen below.
Have no fear, these nobs can easily be removed by pulling the drawer out of the HCF and unscrewing the nobs from the inside (As seen below). This can be done quickly and easily in under 5 minutes. If you are having trouble doing it yourself, give us a call and we will walk you through it!
